1: ALL ITEMS ARE SOLD AS IS, WHERE IS, WITH ALL FAULTS. PLEASE TAKE ADVANTAGE OF OUR PREVIEW OR CONTACT US AT 508-771-1722 OR MVAUCTIONS@AOL.COM WITH QUESTIONS REGARDING CONDITION OR FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ON ITEMS BEING OFFERED. YOUR BIDDING WILL SIGNIFY THAT YOU HAVE RECEIVED ALL DESIRED INFORMATION PRIOR TO PARTICIPATING IN THE AUCTION.
2: Once the auctioneer declares an item sold we cannot reopen the bidding. We reserve the right to reject any bids deemed inappropriate. If an item is withdrawn from the auction it will be offered again only at the auctioneer's discretion.
3: Payment may be made with cash, approved check, MasterCard or Visa at the time of sale or within 10 business days for internet or absentee purchases. MV Auctions reserves the right to require bank checks for large purchases. MV Auctions also reserves the right to withhold merchandise paid by check until the check clears. We do not offer credit.
4: Absentee bids left with us are executed competitively and confidentially. Bids left on EBay are executed by Ebay when the item goes up in the live auction.
5: Unless exempted by law, all purchases are subject to a 5% Massachusetts sales tax. Sales tax forms must be fully completed and received prior to the auction.
6: A buyers premium of 15% will be applied to the purchase price of all items except those purchased through the internet. The buyers premium applied to EBay live auction purchases will be 18%. If you are bidding on EBay Live Auctions please be prepared to bid quickly.
7: Shipping is the responsibility of the purchaser. MV Auctions will pack and ship small items (priority mail) for a fee of $7.00 plus postage. Larger items and furniture shipping arrangements must be made by the purchaser. MV Auctions will determine whether an item qualifies for in house shipping. If you do not have a shipper you may contact us at 508-771-1722 for names and numbers of shippers. We recommend you insure all items being shipped as MV Auctions is not liable for any damage which occurs during shipping. Items not picked up day of sale will be held at our warehouse in Hyannis (02601). (Phil Geib of Heirloom Transport will give pre auction shipping estimates - he may be reached at 800-316-3301.)
