BUYER'S PREMIUM:
There will be a buyer's premium of 18% added to the hammer price of each lot and it will be considered part of the total purchase price.
SALES TAXES:
All purchases will be subject to a 6% Pennsylvania sales tax unless the purchaser possesses a valid tax-exempt number. Out of state internet bidders are not subject to Pennsylvania sales tax unless picking the items up in person. All items shipped out of state are tax exempt.
CONDITION REPORTS:
All items are sold "AS IS, WHERE IS" with all faults. There are NO warranties or representations any other kind, express or implied. All items are available for your examination prior to bidding. Written and oral descriptions are "OUR OPINION" and should in no way be construed as a guarantee of any kind as to authenticity, age, condition, materials or any other feature of items being sold.
Tom Hall Auctions attempts to catalog lots correctly and will attempt to point out any defects but will not be responsible or liable for the correctness of the catalog or other descriptions of the lot. We recommend prospective bidders examine all items in which they have an interest.
By placing a bid, either in person, by phone, absentee or via the Internet, you signify that you have examined the items as fully as you desire to or that you have chosen not to examine them. If you require absolute certainty in all areas of authenticity, and the results of your evaluation leave uncertainty in your mind, we recommend you have an expert examine the lot for you or do not bid on the item in question. If your item(s) are damaged in shipping, you will need to contact the shipper to file a claim.

2. The successful bidder is the highest bidder acknowledged by the auctioneer. In the event of any dispute between bidders, or in the event of doubt, the auctioneer will have the final discretion either to determine the successful bidder or to re-offer and resell the article in dispute. If any dispute arises after the sale, Tom Hall Auctions sale record is conclusive.
3. The purchaser assumes full responsibility for items at the fall of the hammer.
4. As a convenience to customers, absentee bids and phone bids will be executed by Tom Hall Auctions personnel in a fair, competitive and confidential manner. Phone bid arrangements must be made 24 hours prior to start of the auction and all phone bidders will supply a credit card to execute bidding. Tom Hall Auctions will not be responsible for failure to execute absentee or phone bids.
5. There will be a buyers premium of 18% for Internet bidders added to the hammer price of each lot and it will be considered part of the total purchase price.
6. All purchases will be subject to a 6% Pennsylvania sales tax unless the purchaser possesses a valid tax-exempt number or the item is being shipped out of Pennsylvania.
7. PAYMENT -Major CREDIT CARD ONLY. WE DO NOT ACCEPT PAY PAL
Tom Hall Auctions will attempt to contact you by phone to collect payment however if we do not reach you it is the buyer's responsibility to contact Tom Hall Auctions, Inc. via telephone 610-799-0808 to arrange payment within 48 hours of the completion of the auction. Tom Hall Auctions, Inc. will email an invoice to you within 2 days from the date of the sale if you request it.
We accept Visa, Master Card, Discover or American Express as payment for purchases ONLY.
NO PAY PAL!!
Failure to make payment within 7 days following the auction will be reported to Live Auctioneers for Non Payment. Tom Hall Auction will hold the property until payment is made. We will not accept Checks as payment.
8. SHIPPING - It is the buyer's responsibility to pay all fees associated with shipping and packing. All property should be removed from our premises no later than 4:00 P.M. by the 7th business day following the end of the auction. Unless prior arrangements have been made with Tom Hall Auctions, Inc.
We do not offer storage. Items not removed by the specified time will be charged storage and handling fees of $10.00 per item per day until removal.
This includes items being picked up by a 3rd party shipping company.
Please note that removal deadlines are strictly enforced because we do not have additional storage space available.
PACKING AND SHIPPING: Purchasers will pay an independent shipper for packing, handling, postage and insurance.
Merchandise will be shipped within 7 business days of receipt of payment. Tom Hall Auctions, Inc. is in no way responsible for the acts or omissions of independent contractors, packers or carriers of purchased merchandise.
No item shipped will be the responsibility of Tom Hall Auctions, Inc. We will take any small items to a local shipper if buyer requests we do so or you may make your own arrangements with another shipper.
There is $5.00 handling fee paid to Tom Hall Auctions to deliver the items to the shipper. This fee will be added to your total auction bill.
For larger items such as furniture, etc. in the auction you need to get your own shipper. Tom Hall Auctions is in no way responsible for any shipping or arrangements for large items.
9. The auctioneer reserves the right to reject any bid not commensurate with the value of the property offered.
10. The bidders present have precedent over all other bidders.
11. All perspective bidders must be registered and be approved by Tom Hall Auctions, Inc. By 9:00 am the day of the auction! There will be "NO" exceptions. If you are not preregistered you will "NOT" be permitted to bid.
