Conditions of Sale All sales are final. All properties are sold as is where is. Though all description and commentary are believed to be correct, neither the auctioneer nor the consignor makes any warranties or representations of any kind with respect to merchandise. Buyer shall not rely on the auctioneer, employees, the catalog description, or advertisements in any part, and must rely only on his own inspection and opinions of all items. Osgood Auctions offers a preview and photos for potential buyers to review and make their own conclusions about the merchandise. No employee is authorized to make any warranties, expressed or implied, on behalf of Osgood Auctions. Payment Methods Osgood Auctions accepts Credit cards (VISA, MASTER), checks, cash, and wire transfer, and all in US dollars. However, an additional 2% charge will apply for more than $2,000 if paid in credit cards. If payment is made by checks, Osgood Auctions will hold the merchandise until the check is cleared by the bank. A $35 handling fee will apply for a check dishonored each time by the bank. Payment must be received in full within 20 days after the auction. $10 per day storage fee will be charged by Osgood Auctions 30 days after the auction. Buyer?s Premium For floor and phone bidding, the buyer?s premium is 18%. For on-line bidding through Invaluable, AuctionZip, and LiverAuctioneers, the buyer?s premium is 23%. Sales Tax All purchases (including buyer?s premium) are subject to 6.25% Massachusetts State Sales Tax, unless the buyer is an out-of-state resident and the merchandise is shipped out of Massachusetts, or if the buyer has a valid Tax Exempt Certificate on file with Osgood Auctions. Shipping The buyer will be responsible for the shipping and handling cost.
