DESCRIPTIONS Items are described to the best of our knowledge and ability. However, descriptions are not intended to be definitive and should be thought of as opinions on the genuineness, authorship, attribution, originality, origin,
Provenance, or condition of items.
CONDITION, MEASUREMENTS AND ESTIMATES are given as a courtesy to a client, and is only an opinion and should not be treated as a statement of fact. We assume no responsibility for any error or omission. The absence of a condition statement does not imply that the lot is in perfect condition or completely free from wear and tear, imperfections or the effects of aging. Bidders are encouraged to view the item in person or request additional photos or measurements prior to bidding. All graded and/or measured and mounted gemstones are examined in mounts. Due to this, slight variations in the grading and weighing or sizing of the stones may occur due to mounted gemstones being graded only to the extent of which mounting will permit examination. We do not offer warranty of any watch, clock, and/or timepiece. Working conditions given for such items are stated at the time of description. The estimated values shown after each lot are the auctioneer's estimate of what each lot is likely to realize.
BIDDING advances shall be regulated by the auctioneer and shall be at his discretion. He or she has the right to refuse any bids. Some of the items offered at auction are subject to a reserve. A reserve is a minimum price agreed upon by the consignor of the property and the auction house. The auctioneer may bid on behalf of the consignor in order to reach the minimum sale amount. If the minimum amount is not reached, the auctioneer may pass the item. The auctioneer reserves the right to bid on behalf of clients and vendors, but shall not be liable for errors or omissions in executing instructions to bid. All bidders are required to complete the registration and obtain a bidder number.
RETURNS Items described as being sold "AS-IS" are being sold in their current state without any guarantee and cannot be returned. If a guaranteed item is deemed not to be authentic by a panel of three competent authorities, a full refund of the purchase price and buyer's premium shall be the limit of liability of the auction company and or its representatives. Returns must be authorized and made within 10 days. Please ask about our approved authenticators
