Martin Gordon Auctions is pleased to present the Summer Print Sale, Saturday, June 2nd at 10:00 am PDT, and Sunday, June 3rd at 12:00 noon PDT. The sale will include 693 lots of Old Master to Contemporary original prints and posters.
HIGHLIGHTS OF THE SALE include Lot 116, Currier & Ives' "The Road, Winter," arguably the best known and most popular of all Currier & Ives prints, as well as Lot 590, Picasso's "Peintre et son Modele," an aquatint with drypoint. Also featured are original prints by Rudolf Bauer, George Bellows, Leonora Carrington, Jules Cheret, Philip C. Curtis, Francisco Jose de Goya y Lucientes, Childe Hassam, Gustav Klimt, Max Klinger, Mikhail Larionov, Henri Matisse, Karima Muyaes, Jose Clemente Orozco, Michael Parkes, Joseph Pennell, Rembrandt, Manuel Robbe, Diego Rivera, John Sloan, Rufino Tamayo, Walter Ernest Tittle, and Francisco Zuniga.
Part I, Saturday, June 2nd, will offer Lots 1 through 300.
Part II, Sunday, June 3rd, will offer Lots 301 through 693.
