Ancient Art From Around the World

Auction includes a fine selection of Pre-Columbian Art from Mexico, Honduras, El Salvador, Ecuador, Colombia, and Peru. Also includes a wonderful selection of ancient Egyptian art in stone, wood and bronze as well as ushabtis, scarabs, amulets and necklaces. Ancient glass from the Holy Land is included along with ancient beads from the Near East, ancient Persian pottery and an exceptionally fine collection of Greek and Roman artifacts in all media are included. Central Asian antiquities are also featured with a nice group of Indus Valley collectibles in the auction. The auction concludes with a nice selection of Asian art. Lacquered pottery from the Sung Dynasty of China and the Goryeo Dynasty of Korea are included. Finally weapons from the US and North Africa; antique combs, a Chinese incense clock and US maps finish up the auction.
