Tribal & Ethnographic Weaponry: Timed Auction

Cowan's Summer Ethnographic Weapons and Tribal Art sale features an array of scarce and rare weapons and cultural art from around the world, with cultures from every populated continent represented through these important artifacts. Featured lots include a handsome silver mounted Saudi jambiya with accompanying belt (Lot 46), a fine rattan-wrapped war club from the Solomon Islands (Lot 62), and a scarce Dui war club showing the skillful geometric carving for which artisans from the region have become so celebrated. Also featured in this sale is a wide selection of Indonesian Keris, characterized by their fine handles and beautiful blades (lots 75, 114, 139,140) as well as several Nepali kukuri fitted with beautiful silver and coral mounts (Lots 78, 79, 80, 81).
