1. Payment is due upon receipt of invoice and must be received within 5 days of the auction. We accept payment in cash, check, wire transfer and most credit cards. All sales are subject to 6.25% Massachusetts sales tax unless the buyer holds a valid Massachusetts Sales and Use Tax resale form, other state's resale certificate and submits a signed copy of the Massachusetts Sales and Use tax resale form. We do not collect sales tax on items shipped out of state. If paying thru paypal, we do not ship to an address that is not associated with that account 2. Descriptions All goods are sold "as is” , “Where is” and all sales are final. Faraway Auctions is not responsible for any warranties of any kind, including age, origin, condition, restoration, dimensions, authenticity, provenance or authorship. An item’s description is Faraway Auction’s opinion and do not represent a guarantee. Faraway Auctions cannot be held responsible for inaccuracies of any kind. We encourage in person inspection, questions or requests for additional information or images. All items are available for your examination prior to bidding and all questions about an item(s) will be answered 24 hours up until the sale begins. Your bidding will signify that you have examined the items, or that you have chosen not to examine them 3. Buyer’s Premium A buyer’s premium of 17% is added to all hammer prices. The hammer price is the selling price, the additions of the 17% buyer’s premium and sales tax, if applicable to the hammer price becomes the total final purchase price. 4. Shipping of items, both of the arrangement and costs are the responsibility of the buyer. Items can be picked up at 6 Rays Ct up until 14 days after the sale. Faraway Auctions provide in house shipping on smaller items. On larger items we can arrange professional shippers.Larger Items and can be picked up at our location on Nantucket or in Hyannis. Lead time for pick-up in Hyannis is 7 days after the sale. Purchased items that have been paid for but not shipped within 21 days of the auction will be stored at a rate of $10 per day per lot.
