This large auction will include a broad range of books and ephemera items from area estates and consignments. The catalog includes 400 lots, offering approximately 5,000 volumes. The books range from special, limited editions to large groups of excellent dealer and reading stock. Highlights of this auction include early works by Jules Verne, an 1846 landmark cookbook and a first edition of Arthur Murray's "The Modern Dances." Also included is a folio 2-volume set of Ebers' "Picturesque Egypt", an early 1852 copy of Harriet Beecher Stowe's "Uncle Tom's Cabin" (complete in two volumes), and a nine-volume group of John Broadhead's "Documents Relating to the Colonial History of the State of New York."
