Following the success we have had with the previous auctions we are now proud to present Purely Matchbox 5, another great collection of high quality vintage Matchbox items from the 1950's through to the 1980's. This auction includes rare and unusual items as well as an interesting selection of lots with variations of the same model, giving the collector a chance to compare differences and acquire some sought after items. Our next sale, Purely Matchbox 6 will be in the New Year and we are already taking items for that sale, if you have Matchbox items you would like to sell please email us at info@thematchboxforum.co.uk, it costs nothing to enter items for auction and just 10% commission if the item sells. On-line bidders will pay just 17.5% commission with INSURED postage paid at cost, winning bidders to be notified within 7 days of end of auction. All bids up to 100GBP are in 5GBP increments, also bids between 100GBP and 300GBP are in 10GBP increments. Finally above 300GBP all bids will be in 20GBP increments regardless of the amount the item gets bid up to. We have described some unused models as having tiny nicks instead of mint, these are almost always of factory origin. Assessments of items must be regarded as opinion only; all items sold as is. Payment Options: Thematchboxforum will accept the following options as payment: Credit card and PayPal, certified or pre-approved personal UK cheque, no foreign cheques accepted. Also currency in UK Pounds Sterling, US Dollars or Euros, all must be sent by registered mail, we will not be held liable for any lost payments. Buyers Premium/Shipping Charges: Pre-Sale Bids will be accepted via Live Auctioneers online catalogue. We will also accept email commission bids at our website.
