Native American Artifact Auction

Collection of Native American Indian artifacts. Several consignors with a nice collection of beadwork, flint and stone, Navajo textiles and misc. items. Some of the items are believed to be reproduction. Russ Hayward - auctioneer and owner of Midwest Auctions, Inc, has 30 plus years experience selling Native American Indian artifacts. Russ Hayward and Midwest Auctions, Inc have been named by the University of Iowa Archeological Department as a contact for authenticating and pricing Native American artifacts. These contacts have resulted in several auctions from people taking artifacts to the University to examine, thus they were asked to have Russ Hayward of Midwest Auctions to give them an appraisal. Russ Hayward has also been a compensated instructor on Native American artifacts for the states of Illinois and Wisconsin Auctioneers Assn. This was basically in the early 2000's. Russ was named the Midwest leading authority on American Indian items by the above states. Russ is also admits he does not know it all, as no one does.
