AFTER SALE OFFERS: If a item is passed and does not sell at auction you may contact Ridgley's to make a reasonable offer. Ridgley's will take your offer and negotiate with the consignor on your behalf.
BINS: Items sold as Buy it Now with a price that usually ends in $.99 have a full money back guarantee and can be returned for a full refund within 7 days of the customers receipt of the merchandise as (unless item was sold as As-Is non-returnable/ non-refundable).
AUCTIONS: Items that are purchased on the live auction have a 7 day inspection period. If it is deemed that the item is not as described during the auction, a full refund will be issued after the conformation of the claim with the exception of shipping and buyers premium. Auction items that are returned or cancelled for any other reason are subject to a 10% restocking fee at a minimum of $10. Remember that all auction items have a non refundable buyers premium. Ridgley's offers one of the lowest Buyer premiums at only 18%. Invaluable also charges a 1% of the hammer price.
That means there is a total of 19% added to the final hammer price. (19% is a industry low)
OFFERS: Items with a price that end in $.01 are subject to a 10% restocking fee if they are returned or cancelled. These items have been sold at a highly reduced price and made unavailable for another buyer.
All items must be paid for at the time of purchase. If you place a bid you are agreeing to pay that amount if you win the auction. After 4 days of winning the auction you will be charged the amount owed. Declined purchases are held for 24 hours and then cancelled. Cancellation fees may apply unless other arrangements were made.
RESTRICTIONS: Items that have been modified cannot be returned for any reason including: sized rings, mounted stones, custom orders and alterations. Removed tags or worn items may not be returned for any reason. Services are non-refundable including: appraisals, certifications, etc.
RETURN. PROCESS: In order to return a item for a refund you must contact customer service to issue a return merchandise authorization(RMA) number. After receiving the RMA number, write the RMA number on the invoice along with the reason for returning. Also write the RMA number on the outside of the box. So you will be writing the RMA in 2 different spots. NO item will be returned without a RMA number. Ridgley's does not pay for return shipping cost. Returns are processed within 15 business days following the receipt of the return. Shipping cost and services are non refundable. Buyers premium and shipping is NONE refundable.
SHIPPING RULES: Shipping cost is non-refundable unless the item was misrepresented. All orders are shipped to the credit card verified address only. Please ensure that we have proper credit card addresses on file. We can not and will not ship to any address that is not on file with the credit card company. Ridgley's records all items condition under video surveillance before being shipped out. Shipping is a flat rate fee of $15 for item sold in the United State for $499 or less. Items that exceed $499 or if being shipped outside of the U.S will have additional fees. (Ridgley's does not profit from shipping charges). All winning lots will have a $6 fee added to their invoice. Ridgley's does not profit from this charge. This fee goes to the USPS for signature added security for your package
DAMAGED ITEMS: If you have received a damaged item, are missing an item, or any shipment occurred damages, please save the box and packing material then call our Customer Service within 24 hours of receipt of the item. Customer Service will file a claim with the shipping company. If a replacement for the item is available, the item can be reshipped. If not, a refund will be issued depending on the result of the investigation with the shipping company. Claims with Fed-ex, UPS, and USPS can take from 3-6 weeks to resolve. We are not responsible for any of the shipping providers faults or damages. On some occasions it will be up to the client to file the dispute with the shipping provider.
CALLS RECORDED: To maintain the highest level of service, Ridgley's records all phone calls. Bidders hereby agree to all call recordings, accept that all verbal authorizations shall be binding for all bids placed, and agree to and accept all terms and conditions of each sale verbally. Buyer further agrees that buyer expressly authorizes Ridgley's to charge the cardholders credit card for any and all purchase transaction.
CHARGE BACKS/DISPUTES : It is illegal to wrongfully dispute a transaction if you are still in position of the item. We will have anyone who wrongfully conducts a charge back or dispute prosecuted to the highest amount of law applicable.
CANCELS: Here at Ridgley's we work very hard to please our clients and want everyone to be able to enjoy the fun and reward themselves or there loved ones with the products we offer. Because of the high volume of orders and demand for our pieces if we see too high of a % of cancels and returns we will have to restrict that individual from shopping/bidding with Ridgley's.
