The fine arts selections for Sunday are highlighted by two Edmund Henry Osthaus watercolors, a George Bellows lithograph, Lajos Bruck, Jessie Arms Botke and George Rouault oil paintings. Additional paintings of note are by Richard Jerzy, Tadeusz Popiel, Woiciech von Kossak, Copley Fielding, Jacques Francois Carabain, Anton Otto Fischer, Salva Brodinsky, Ludwig Munninger and J.F. Raffaelli there is also a selection of acrylic lithographs by Peter Max along with modern graphics by a variety of artists including Victor Vasarely. A drawing on a postcard by Joan Miro and sculptures by Marshall Fredericks, Carl Milles and A. Cambos are also of note. Decorative arts are highlighted by: an extensive orientalia collection of porcelain (including Satsuma), ivory and jade; a Gorham sterling tea and coffee service and a George E. Ohr earthenware palette. Over 80 lots of jewelry and over 70 lots of 19th and 20th c. French and English furniture round out the day.
