The auction features beautifully cast bronzes by Clodion, Mene and Moigniez; lovely turn-of-the-century sterling silver by Wm. Kerr, Tiffany & Co., and Howard & Co., punctuated by a Gorham copper and silver coffee pot of the Aesthetic Movement; porcelains by Sevres and Dresden, Pewabic pottery, and a Picasso Picador bowl. Antique American maple, walnut and cherry furniture from the Estate of Mary Kennedy of Ann Arbor; fine and antique jewelry, sterling flatware, paintings, oriental rugs, and a Baldwin piano from a Dearborn, Michigan estate; and a large offering of decorator quality furnishings by Henredon, Kittinger, Maitland-Smith, Drexel, Frederick Cooper, and more. From various private collections: a pair of Japanese cloisonne' palace vases of the Meiji period; etchings and lithographs by Salvador Dali; Chinese porcelains; Jay Strongwater and Edgar Berebi frames; and of special interest, a 14-volume set of books by Elbert Hubbard, founder of Roycroft, autographed by the author.
