Prints & Multiples
We are pleased to present our Spring Prints & Multiples auction featuring a strong selection of Modern prints with a focus on color. Ellsworth Kelly, Josef Albers, Alex Katz, Sonia Delaunay, David Hockney, Roy Lichtenstein, Robert Rauschenberg, James Rosenquist, and Bridget Riley - artists synonymous with color - feature prominently in the first session of the auction. Highlights include Robert Indiana's complete Numbers portfolio, Wayne Thiebaud's rich woodcut Dark Cake from 1983, and Ed Ruscha's early and poignant Olive, Screw, 1969. The sale then moves into a session of Modern Masters such as Jean Dubuffet, Marc Chagall, Joan Miró including prints and ceramics from Pablo Picasso and closes with a short session of Old Master Prints. With a span of over 500 years of printmaking, there really is something for everyone.
