DuMouchelles March 16th Auction

Our sale opens with an exciting bronze feature consisting of six sculptures by Marshall Fredericks (American, 1908-1998) and a Dodge Brothers Bronze Emblem, c. 1910, from the front gate of the Dodge Main Plant. Further into the sale are 15 lots of contemporary glass artwork and furniture by Laurel Fyfe (American, 1956-2011) preceding a variety of antique and modern pieces of furniture, including such makers as Henredon and Kittinger as well as an Arts & Crafts era settle, in the manner of Stickley. Friday night also showcases an abundance of decorative objects ranging from annual Christmas Plates by Bing & Grondahl, from 1895 to 1989, to a "Ball der Statdt, Wien" Booklet celebrating Franz Schubert's 100 Year Anniversary, 1897, issued from a Viennese Ball, as well as a Steuben Aurene Glass vase and a pair of 18th century Lowestoft Porcelain Platters. Also of note is also a small collection of important books, including a First Edition of "The Great Gatsby" by F. Scott Fitzgerald. Other features include Fine Jewelry, oil paintings, including works by Richard Jerzy and over 40 lots of Oriental Carpets and Rugs.
