The Bott Collection

We are proud to announce the sale of Renée Bott's collection of personal printer proofs, gathered over 30 years. Renee Bott started her career as a fine art intaglio printer at the legendary Crown Point Press in San Francisco in 1985. She worked alongside world-renowned artists such as Richard Diebenkorn, Wayne Thiebaud, William Bailey, Francesco Clemente, or Al Held. In 1996, Renée co-founded Paulson Bott Press with and Pam Paulson. The fine intaglio printmaking atelier is located in Berkeley, California. After twenty years as a Master Printer and partner Renée retired. It is an honor to present her personal printer's proofs of such groundbreaking artists as Tauba Auerbach, Caio Fonseca, Gee's Bend quilters, Richard Diebenkorn, and Ross Bleckner, just to name a few. This is a unique opportunity to own a piece of printmaking art history of the latter part of the 20th century and the start of the 21st. All impressions are magnificent and in perfect condition.
