We advise all bidders to read the terms and conditions of the sale as set forth in this catalog. Those who bid are bound by those terms and conditions of the sale, as amended by any oral announcement or posted notices, which together form the contract of the sale between the successful bidder (purchaser), Geppi's Memorabilia Road Show and the seller (consignor) of the lot. Terms of Sale When bidding on any lot offered by GMRS, the bidder indicates acceptance of the following Terms of Sale: Ownership Ownership of merchandise will transfer to the highest bidder at the fall of the GMRS auction house hammer. The buyer will assume all risk and responsibility of the lot purchased once ownership has changed. The auction house will determine highest bidder. The auction house alone has the right to reopen the bidding of an item if deemed necessary in a dispute. Condition of Items Listed Geppi's Memorabilia Road Show makes every effort to accurately describe all items being sold, but all items for sale are "as is" and it is the bidder's responsibility to determine the exact condition of each item. Buyer's Premium A 22% buyers premium will be added to all successful eBay bids and is payable by the purchaser as part of the total purchase. GMRS reserves the right to restrict the registration of bidders. Payments by check, cash, or money order are discounted 2%. Reserves GMRS retains the right to place reserves on certain items in the auction. Authenticity GMRS is committed to the integrity of every sale. You can bid with confidence knowing that each item has been thoroughly examined by noted experts in specific genres. Our consultants and staff tirelessly research every piece for its authenticity and significance. GMRS makes every effort to provide bidders with critical information that validates authenticity. Payment Acceptable payments include Visa/MC/Discover. Payments by check, cash, or money order are discounted 2%. Geppi's Memorabilia Road Show reserves the right to hold items of payment by personal checks. Payment must be received within 10 days of sale. Taxes A New York sales tax will be collected from buyers shipping to a New York address unless Geppi's Memorabilia Road Show has a copy of the purchaser's resale certificate and a completed tax exempt form. The sales tax will be based on the shipping address county in New York. A 5% Maryland sales tax will be collected from buyers shipping to a Maryland address unless Geppi's Memorabilia Road Show has a copy of the purchaser's resale certificate and a completed tax exempt form. Contract Your bid is a contract. Place a bid only if you're serious about buying the item. If you are the successful and winning bidder, you have entered into a legally binding contract to purchase the items won. You should contact GMRS to resolve any questions before bidding. Shipping Buyer is responsible for all shipping costs. The buyer may determine preferred shipping method. Packing, shipping and insuring items is available and will be billed separately. All items will be sold including frames as listed. The buyer may choose to have winning lots removed from frames to reduce shipping costs. GMRS does not assume responsibility of risk to damage in the removal of framed pieces. The buyer will relinquish property ownership of such frames with this request. Large items that require freight will be responsibility of the buyer.
