DuMouchelles June 16th Auction

The Saturday auction opens with a lovely collection of antique French silver and bronze, highlights of which include a gilded tea and coffee set by Henri Gauthier, silver and crystal covered urn by Desiree Toussaint, as well as candelabra, covered urns and a desk set. The sale continues with sterling hollowware by Atkin Bros., Bigelow, Kennard & Co., Gorham, and Jones, Lows & Ball, International "Royal Danish" and Towle "French Provincial" flatware sets; Dale Chihuly and Guyol contemporary glass; Vladimir Pastchenko and Anna Vaughn Hyatt Huntington bronze sculptures. From the Collection of Dr. and Mrs. Irving F. Burton, Pre-Columbian pottery, American Indian, Inuit, antiquity artifacts, and Chinese ivory and lapis carvings over 60 lots. From a local collector, contemporary sculptures by Robert Wyland, Sherry Sander, Bob Bennett, Loet Vanderveen, Jerry Warner, and others, as well as Steuben presentation pieces, Waterford chandelier and lamps, mahogany furnishings by Drexel, Century, and Wellington Hall, and over 50 Lladro figures. And from various private collectors: Jean-Francois Millet etching; a Swiss rosewood cylinder music box; fine jewelry and a variety of oriental rugs from semi antique to modern.
