Rago and LAMA are proud to debut Latin American Art on October 30th, the first auction in a series emphasizing the profound influence of the region on art movements past and present. This multi-faceted selection spans diverse eras, disciplines, and geographies, with highlights including Cundo Berm?dez's 1944 Retrato de Lydia, Julio Larraz's Study for Detail, and ?ngeles Agrela's Olimpia, as well as works from Jorge Eielson, Julio Larraz, Agustin Fernandez, Roberto Sebastian Matta, Henrique Oliveira, Chico da Silva, and many more.
A robust selection of works from The Collection of Shawn & Andrew Hosner of Thinkspace LA spotlights emerging contemporary artists such as Conrad Ruiz, Hilda Palafox, and Ozzie Juarez. The sale of these works will benefit the ongoing programming of Thinkspace LA, and a portion of proceeds will be donated to the Keep A Breast Foundation in loving memory of Shawn Hosner.
