Buyers Premium: A premium of 20% inclusive of V.A.T. at the standard rate will be added to the hammer price of all lots purchased. As of 1st June 1995 - The introduction of the Auctioneers Margin Scheme will mean that this will be shown as an inclusive figure of 20% and the V.A.T. cannot be reclaimed as Input Tax. Commission Bids and Telephone Bids: Please ensure that all requests in respect of telephone bidding and commission bids are with us by 6pm on Monday, 10th December , as we cannot guarantee availability of telephone lines or being able to execute bids on the morning of the sale. Acceptance of telephone bidding is at our sole discretion. Payment: Due to the recent bout of fraudulent bidding in our sales, we have been forced to impose a new policy regarding payment for purchases of silver, jewellery, watch, coins and other high value items. We will now only accept payment for these items by bank transfer or by card payments or cash payments in person. With the exception of regular buyers known to us, we will no longer accept payment by card over the telephone or by cheque. This policy applies regardless of the invoice total. Thank you for your understanding. Shipping: We recommend that purchasers who wish their items to be shipped to them use Mail Boxes Etc who have a branch in Canterbury, local to us. Would all prospective Foreign Purchasers who wish to Import their Purchases to their Home Country/Territory please ensure that they have checked and comply with the Import /Custom Regulations of that Country/Territory before bidding. We cannot be held liable for any problem/inability for any Purchases to be transported outside of the U.K.
