Exciting auction with an eclectic selection of books from collectible to rare. Of immediate interest is a very nice first edition/first printing of The Great Gatsby with all six first edition points. Three original Civil War era diaries from northeast Ohio and three vintage Ohio county atlases will benefit the history collector. A selection of quite elusive railroad and other late 19th/early 20th century booklets are here for the collector of west coast memorabilia. Classic books on Duck and Fowl shooting are present, as well as scarce first editions on the American West. Several vividly hand-colored Burritt celestial maps from the 1850s are a surprise entry. A scarce copy of Williams’ Topographical Description of Ohio will be found as well as a collection of reproduced full-size drawings by the man who was famous for the Gibson Girl. Many other interesting and elusive books (and other things) will be found in this auction.
