With singular flair and erudition, The Pite Collection showcases a global collecting perspective with stand-out works by British, European and American masters such as Anthony Gormley, Tony Cragg, Gerhard Richter, Juan Muñoz and Kiki Smith, amongst others. Meticulous provenance files kept by Ms. Pite read as a roll call of some of the finest and most esteemed New York and London galleries and dealers including Mary Boone, Marian Goodman, Josh Baer, David Nolan and White Cube. With the collection acquired across several decades and dating as far back as the 1980s, The Pite Collection is a rare glimpse into a passionate collector acquiring cutting-edge contemporary art with a focus on discovering form, line and space in a variety of media. Many of the works carry impressive exhibition history underscoring the scholarly and informed approach of Ms. Pite. The second distinguished private collection comes from a collector in Michigan and includes salient works by Charles Arnoldi, Donald Sultan, Michael Gregory, John Gibson, Tim Bavington, and Lester F.
