The June 2013 PEI Arts Auction will features Canadian art, east coast Maritime folk art, Nova Scotia glass, and antiques. Featured artists include Carl Beam, Mark A. Brennan, John Hammond, Rod MacKay, Vivian Nickerson, Albert Mead Pattison, Beth Powning, Kelsey Raymond, Leo Schimanszky, and John Snow. PEI art includes works by Robert Doddridge, Peter Jansons, Barry Jeeves, Axel Johnson, Arthur MacNeill, George Scantlebury, Steven Stairs, Sterling Stratton, Malcolm Stanley, Pat Stanley, Georgie Read-Barton, Claire Bourque, Barry Bugden, Nan Ferrier, Marc Gallant, Colleen Graham, Jocelyn Harwood, Hannelore Kennedy, Ann Dow Lee, Ann MacKay, Christopher Phillis, Henry Purdy, Sylvia Ridgeway, Erica Rutherford, and Richard Vickerson. The PEI Arts Auction will be held on Sunday, June 30th, during the Canada Day weekend. It takes place in The Carriage House on the grounds of Gallery 18 in New London. The preview begins at Noon on the day of the sale. The auction begins at 2:00 pm.

However, the auctioneer will not be held responsible for any errors or omissions. Prospective purchasers will have the opportunity to examine the lots prior to the sale. 3.) The auctioneer has the right to accept or reject any bids, and to establish the bidding increments. Gallery 18 Ltd. acts solely as the agent for the consignor. 4.) The auctioneer may reject any opening bid deemed to be too low. The auctioneer reserves the right to withdraw any lot from the sale, or to combine lots. The purchaser of any lot will be the bidder who has conveyed the highest bid accepted by the auctioneer. The lot will be released to the purchaser upon proof of payment. 5.) Each lot sold is subject to applicable taxes. 6.) Each lot is sold as is, and with all faults. 7.) Payment shall be made by Cash, Visa, Mastercard, Interac/Debit, or Certified Check. A 7 percent premium will be applied to the purchase price for online bidding. 10.) Lots are offered for sale subject to a reserve price established in advance between the auctioneer and the consignor. The reserve price is available upon request. 11.) Gallery 18 Ltd. accepts absentee bids submitted by prospective purchasers who are unable to attend the live auction on the day of the sale. The auctioneer will bid on behalf of absentee bidders. However, the auctioneer will not be held responsible for errors or failures to execute absentee bids. 12.) Anyone attending Gallery 18 or The Carriage House does so at their own risk. They shall have no claim against Gallery 18 or The Carriage House for any personal or property damage that occurs while they are on the premises. 13.) The auctioneer reserves the right to refuse admission to any individual. The auctioneer reserves the right to accept or reject bids from any person. 14.) The laws of the province of Prince Edward Island, Canada, shall be applied to any of these conditions, and to any purchase agreement.

Taxes

Gallery 18 Ltd. is required to collect GST or HST on all sales within Canada. Gallery 18 Ltd. is not required to collect Canadian taxes on items purchased for shipment outside Canada to another country.
