Bei Differenzbesteuerung beträgt die Käuferprovision
für den unter € 500.000 gelegenen Teil des Meistbots 30%
für den € 500.000 übersteigenden Teil des Meistbots bis € 5.000.000 25%
für den € 5.000.000 übersteigenden Teil des Meistbots 17%
Im Aufgeld ist eine 20%ige Umsatzsteuer enthalten.

Bei Normalbesteuerung (oder im Fall einer Ausfuhr in Nicht-EU Staaten) beträgt die Käuferprovision für den unter € 500.000 gelegenen Teil des Meistbots 25%
für den € 500.000 übersteigenden Teil des Meistbots bis € 5.000.000 20,8%
für den € 5.000.000 übersteigenden Teil des Meistbots 14,2%
Zuzüglich 13% Umsatzsteuer bei Gemälden und 20% bei Antiquitäten.

Im Falle eines Exports ist die Einfuhrumsatzsteuer des Empfängerstaates nicht enthalten. Werden die Kunstwerke ins Nicht-EU Ausland verbracht und Exportpapiere werden vorgelegt, ist der Kauf umsatzsteuerfrei.
