On 13 May at 11:00 am, Marcopolo Auctions will present a sale dedicated to the Wunderkammer & Objets de Vertu and Clocks & Historical Timepieces departments, to be held at its premises in Via Carlo Poerio 43, Milan. The catalogue features a curated selection of rare and finely crafted objects reflecting European collecting taste from the Renaissance to the early 20th century, including silver, paintings on copper and slate, cameos, snuff boxes and other objets de vertu. Alongside these, an important group of historical clocks and timepieces highlights the development of European horology, with notable French and European examples from the 18th and 19th centuries, appreciated for their technical excellence and decorative refinement. A sale bringing together objects of significant historical and aesthetic interest, conceived for collectors in search of unique works.
