A Lifetime of Discovery

We are pleased to present an exceptional auction highlighted by the opening offering from the lifetime collection of a respected dealer and collector whose passion for history and collecting spanned more than sixty years. A dear friend and mentor, he assembled thousands of objects over a lifetime, ranging from ancient artifacts and ethnographic works to Asian art, decorative arts, and historical treasures from around the world. His passion for discovering exceptional objects never faded, and he continued acquiring new finds until his passing. Many of the pieces offered here have remained in private hands for decades, while others were among his final acquisitions. This auction marks the beginning of what will be an ongoing presentation of this remarkable collection. The featured offering is complemented by a select group of property from private estates and consignments. As additional material is cataloged, new lots will continue to be added throughout the auction, giving collectors even more opportunities to discover exceptional objects before the sale closes. As always, our catalog descriptions reflect our research and opinions, and bidders are encouraged to examine each lot carefully and form their own conclusions. Thank you for participating in our auction. Please save us to your favorites and follow our future sales, as many more fresh-to-the-market discoveries from this extraordinary collection remain to be offered.
