FASTASTIC TOY TRAIN AUCTION

Stout Auctions is honored to offer an incredible one-day sale of trains, vintage toys, Railroad memorabilia, Nautical and Railroad pictures from the Estate of James Fry TCA #CM-HM-17 of Euclid, Ohio. Also included in this sale will be Part II of the Albert F. Otten collection. There will be items in this sale from the Terry Johnson collection, Denver, CO TCA #95-41244. His collection was featured in the May 2008 issue of Classic Toy Trains. Terry's collection will be sold in our January 2014 auction. James Fry was a charter and honorary member of the TCA and served as the 10th National President from 1963-1964. Jim's prewar collection had depth and diversity, which included many manufacturers; Lionel, American Flyer, Ives, Bing, Dorfan, Hafner, Carlisle & Finch, Cast Iron and Marx with standard gauge, O gauge and 1 gauge represented. Jim's career was spent working for the Pennsylvania and New York Central Railroads. His interest in all early 20th century transportation is evidence of his collection of Railroad memorabilia and pictures. Albert F. Otten was an avid train collector since childhood and one of his first jobs was working for Lionel Trains in New York. Al was instrumental in the growth and development of the LCCA serving 4 terms as President, Assistant Secretary, Director and served on many committees (LCCA) #HM-429. Al was also a member of the TCA HR-75-7892 and a member of LOTS.
