The painting entitled ?Rachel hides the Teraphim? by Dutch Baroque painter Adriaen van Nieulandt and the caravaggesque work entiled ?Cleopatra? from the circle around the Italian Benedetto Gennari are some exemplary representations of the many excellent Old Master paintings featuring in this auction. The portrait of a girl, created in the studio of Élisabeth Vigée-Lebrun, constitutes a further highlight of early 19th century painting.
