The Saturday auction is pleased to present the antique cut glass collection of Ingrid C. Roberts of North Baltimore, Ohio, featuring rare and important examples from the 19th and early 20th century. Among the over 140 lots are exquisite intaglio cut pieces by Stevens & Williams, beautiful green, ruby and cranberry cut-to-clear punch bowls, baskets, and ewers, paramount of which is a Dorflinger punch bowl set with cups, as well as colorless examples by Libbey, Hawkes, Meriden, and others. The sale continues with, from private collectors, sterling flatware and hollowware by International, Whiting Div. of Gorham and Towle, as well as a unique c. 1880 ?Vine Peapod? pea spoon by Tiffany & Co.; Pablo Picasso and Zsolnay art pottery; antique English mahogany furniture and contemporary pieces by Baker; dazzling jewelry, such as a Belle Epoque style ruby and diamond necklace, and a Japanese pearl and diamond necklace; and a variety of oriental rugs from semi antique to modern.
