Further highlights of this auction are works of the Old Masters from the 17th & 18th Century, including artists such as Carlo Lodi (1701-1765), Nicolas Bertuzzi (1710-1777) and Leonardo Coccorante (1680-1750), who are represented with magnificent architecture capriccios. Furthermore various 19th century Spanish paintings are offered, among them a gallant scene by Catalan genre painter Juan Giménez Martín (1855-1901). Exceptional pieces of decorative arts are also available, including an 18th century inkstand with the bust of the Roman goddess of abundance made by porcelain manufactory Capodimonte, established by Charles of Bourbon. A pair of Louis XVI armchairs with gold décor complete the impressive range of highlights.
