This Auction will include furniture represented by virtually every major style and country, including the Louis XV, XVI, Henry II (including an elegant carved walnut oval mirrored three-door armoire, circa 1890); Empire and Provincial styles of France; Chippendale, Sheraton, William & Mary (including an extremely fine late 17th century marquetry inlaid walnut five drawer chest-on-stand); Victorian, Hepplewhite (including a 19th century finely proportioned inlaid mahogany oval panel linen press) and Edwardian styles of England; a nice selection of rococo revival and 19th century American furniture is featured, as well. Also offered is an elegant French carved oak 4-door/4-drawer buffet with relief carved superstructure, circa 1880 and a superb continental mahogany gilt bronze mounted small scale hall clock, circa 1900-1920. This comprehensive sale will showcase an excellent array of 18th, 19th and 20th century paintings, watercolors, drawings, lithographs and other fine art, including works by J.W. Thrasher, Paul A. Grimm, Alex de Andreis, Blanche Chloe Grant, Henri Victor Lesur, Dedrick B. Stuber, Joseph Fleck, Leon Barillot, William B. Conely, and Millard Sheets; also featured is a 17th century Italian school oil on canvas in an elaborately decorated frame depicting a beautiful young girl arranging a vase of flowers. Included will be a pair of Lalique mute swans on a mirrored plateau; an excellent group of porcelains, including a pair of putti figured floral encrusted Dresden porcelain candelabra, circa 1920 and a good signed 19th century pair of Sevres bisque porcelain gilt bronze mounted classical figured lamps; also a selection of 19th century Russian icons and hand-painted lacquered boxes.
