Prehistoric and Historic Artifact Auction

We are pleased to present an outstanding offering of quality Prehistoric Artifacts (and a few Historic items as well). The Ken Seim collection of quality flint artifacts will be offered in this sale . In the 1980's, Ken and his wife Michele began to expand their artifact collection. Through meticulous collecting, they were able to assemble a large artifact collection with excellent documentation and collector provenance. You'll see Townsend Dovetails, Clem Caldwell flint and Tommy Beutell Hardins in this offering. Many have been pictured in prominent publications and most have been evaluated by respected authenticators. Simply one of the finest flint offerings we've seen. This auction contains a very fine array of stone and slate artifacts as well. A group of Townsend Birdstones was consigned by a European collector. Many are pictured in Townsend's Birdstone Book, Moorehead's 1917 Stone Ornaments and other prominent publications. There are also a number of documented Bannerstones in this offering, including a Quartz Hourglass featured in the Payne Book. Of note in this sale are the quality stone Axes being offered. Some of the finest Axes from the old Lewis McDaniel Collection are included. This auction is rounded out with a clean-up sale of the fabulous ROY HATHCOCK Collection. Items stashed in Roy's relic room for decades will be offered in addition to some of Roy's pottery. Over 30 very fine pottery pieces are in this sale, including one of Roy's "Roseland Site Swirl" bottles and a tremendous Walking Cat Serpent. Many have been pictured in Roy Hathcock's book and other old, respected publications. This is a well rounded auction - Flint, Birdstones, Bannerstones, Axes, Pottery and more.
