Prehistoric Artifact Auction

We are very pleased to offer a large portion of the Bill Ballinger Collection. Bill has been an integral part of the artifact collecting community for decades. Well known for his collection of Axes and Celts, Bill also built a fine collection of flint artifacts. Many of his pieces came from such good old collections as Townsend, Dr. Sisson, Hathcock and others. Dozens and dozens of relics offered in this sale have been pictured in artifact publications. Over 125 have independent authentication papers from reliable sources (most are Davis, Rogers, Partain). A superb consignment of pottery rounds out this sale. Several Hathcock pottery masterpieces are being offered, including Roy's "Bear Effigy" pot. The Powell Cache of North Blades will be sold (9 pieces in one lot). It is simply one of the finest North Blade caches ever found (well pictured in Prehistoric American). 10 colorful Hardins from Hathcock's well known Hardin frame are being sold individually in this sale. There is something for everyone in this sale - Axes, Big Blades, Discoidals, Spiro Beads, Paleo points and much, much more. Don't miss this opportunity to add a fine, documented relic to your collection.
