BUYERS PREMIUM A Buyers Premium of 15% (Plus VAT) will be charged on all lots. PAYMENT Full payment on all lots is mandatory within 24 hours of the sale closing. All lots must be paid for before collection. Payments by cash or cheque will not be accepted. Methods of payment: - 1 Bank Transfer Payments (Quoting invoice number as reference): a. BACS Bank Transfer Payment or ?Faster Payment Service? for transactions under £10,000 b. CHAPS for transactions above £10,000 2 Debit Cards over Telephone (Under £1,000 only) 3 Online Link using Debit Card* *PLEASE NOTE; We are aware of an issue when customers make link payments using cards issued by online only banking providers (including, but not limited to; Chase, Starling, Monzo & Tide). This issue relates to the payment appearing to be debited twice, however the payment is only actually taken once, the second payment is taken by the bank (but not paid to PDS) and then subsequently released (which can be up to 30 days later). This duplicated transaction will show as iBidder or Bidspotter. If you experience this issue we can provide you with a payment confirmation document to pass to your bank which may enable them to release the blocked off funds sooner, however we would recommend customers of online banks settle their invoice using a method other than payment by link. Where the purchase is being made by or on behalf of a company the identification of a current named director is required. VAT VAT at the applicable rate, will be charged on all lots, excepting zero rated goods. GOODS FOR EXPORT FROM UK All lots must be paid for in full including VAT and on receipt of the bill of lading, the VAT on the hammer price only will be refunded. This refund will be paid by cheque, if you request for this to be paid by bank transfer there will be an administration charge of £35. Please note intention to exercise this must be received no later than 30 days after the auction date & supporting documentation received no later than 90 days after the auction date. The Buyer?s Premium is a supply from within the UK and VAT on this is not refundable irrespective of whether or not the goods are to be exported.
