This sale will be comprised of select items from three Ithaca, NY estate collections. Sterling Silver items will include antique and vintage hollowware and flatware pieces including tea pots and trays, Stieff Williamsburg, Tiffany & Company items and Shell & Thread flatware, Gorham, Cartier, Jacquard, Georg Jensen, repousse pieces, ornate Persian 875 tootled box and many other items. Asian antique items will include Chinese porcelain pieces including Famille Verte, Famille Rose, Famille Noire, Kangxi, and Wucai items, a large Republic-era Cloisonne Vase, Chinese flambe glaze vase, antique Japanese Kutani Bijin figure, Japanese Imari items, Chinese flourite lamp base and jade censers, Chinese celadon vessels, and more. Asian art will include many Chinese scroll paintings, early Chinese paintings on silk, fan paintings (including Wu-Ku Hsiang, Chung Shan, Wadang rubbings), brush stroke and other Chinese paintings. There are also a number of Japanese woodblocks or Ukiyo-e (most unframed) including many by Hiroshige (some Yatsugiri-Ban format), Sadao Watanabe, Matsukawa Hanzan, Utamaro, Totoya Hokkei, Hokusai, Sadahide, Tokuyuni III, Menko sheet, prints from books, and more. This is our inaugural sale on Live Auctions, and we are pleased to representing these fine properties. We have been involved in the estate sale and antiques / vintage business for twenty-five years, and have conducted sales on a variety of online and live retail venues. We also offer appraisal services and estate consulting services.
