CONDITION & DESCRIPTIONS: All items are sold "as is". The auction house does not warranty authenticity on any specific piece. We can only offer our opinion and the material facts about the item. It is up to the buyer to determine authenticity before bidding and purchasing an item. If we state facts about coins such as gold or silver content or weight, it is sold as fact. Carat weights and quality are approximate and to the best of our knowledge and may vary by appraiser. Measurements are in inches and are approximates but within reasonable margins. If we note restoration, repair, damage, or defect to a piece in the catalog, look it over for yourself and bid accordingly. We try to picture damage in the online listings. Please ask for additional condition reports about specific concerns or additional images of any damage you are unsure of. If there is a problem concerning condition the buyer must notify us immediately and return the item at their expense within 10 days. After the 10 day period, all items are considered to have been sold "as is, where is". This 10-day policy applies to online purchases. In the case of the item being shipped by Uniques & Antiques: If the item is damaged in transit or has another undisclosed condition issue purchaser is required to notify Uniques & Antiques immediately upon receipt of shipped item. Acceptable notice is email or phone. We will then arrange for return or insurance claim. Buyer agrees to cooperate fully in filing any insurance claim. All items must be paid for within 7 days of the auction. After 7 days we will file a dispute against the buyer and LiveAuctioneers bidding may be disrupted. We will not remove a dispute until the item is paid in full. Items shipped by outside shippers must be picked up within 14 days. Items left over 60 days will be considered abandoned to the auctioneer. Items left over 21 days incur a $5 per day storage and handling charge. Items will not be released until these storage fees are paid. RESTRICTED ITEMS: It is the buyer's responsibility to abide by their local laws, including not bidding on or buying items that are restricted in their local area. We will not release a buyer from purchasing an item restricted in their area and disputes will be filed with liveauctioneers for non-paying bidders. REGISTRATION: Buyers must register for a bidding number by giving name, address, phone number, and photo identification acceptable to us. Please show your bidding number to the auctioneer after each purchase you make. Online bidders must have a credit card on file with the prevailing online auction service. The highest bidder shall be the buyer and if any dispute arises between two or more bidders, the auctioneer shall decide the buyer or immediately put the item up for sale again. Some lots are offered subject to reserve, which is a confidential minimum price below which such a lot will not be sold. The record of sale, kept by the auctioneer and clerk, will be taken as absolute and final in all disputes. BUYER'S PREMIUM: A buyer's premium of 24% of the hammer price shall be added to each purchase to reach the total sales price. The total sales price is subject to applicable sales tax. Complete payment is required in cash, certified check, or Credit card through LiveAuctioneers processing (NO PHONED IN CREDIT CARDS). In the case of online auction purchases, payment must be received within 7 business days. It is recommended that you use Overnight trackable method to make your payment. REMOVAL and STORAGE FEES: Items purchased may be removed once payment is made. Items are shipped within 7 days of receiving payment or clearance of check payment. Item must be removed from our premises within 3 weeks of the auction. After 3 weeks, $5 per day per lot storage charges are assessed. Items will not be released until the storage charges are paid. Items left 60 days after the auction will be considered abandoned to the auctioneer. SHIPPING: We can ship to the billing address on your method of payment. Shipping charges will be added after the auction. CLERKING ERRORS: During the online bidding portion of the auction, it is possible for the internet clerk to award the winning bid to a bidder that was not recognized by the auctioneer. In these unfortunate cases, the auctioneer's record takes precedence and not the online bidding record. We will petition to have LiveAuctioneers remove the item from your buyer report. ABSENTEE BIDS: We offer the absentee bid service as a convenience to our patrons. We execute your bid as if you were in the audience, attempting to obtain the item at the lowest price. Uniques & Antiques Inc will not be held responsible for error or failure to execute any bid. These bids must be in writing or submitted electronically. Please bid using our preset increments listed on the catalog front page. Please keep in mind that because bid position can be unpredictable, it may be possible for someone at the auction or another absentee bidder to buy the item for your top bid price. Bids of the same value from two or more bidders will be awarded to the bidder who placed their bid earliest. The auctioneer's decision is final. PERSONAL INFORMATION/ PRIVACY POLICY: We do not share our bidder information, addresses, email addresses or other personal information with anyone. We use your information to communicate with bidders regarding purchases and other auction business. By registering for this auction, we may put your email on our email notify list.
