Book & Ephemera Auction - Music, Samples etc.

This large auction will include a broad range of books and ephemera items from area estates and consignments. The catalog includes 450 lots, offering approximately 5,000 volumes plus ephemera. The books range from special, limited editions to large groups of excellent dealer and reading stock. Highlights of this auction include a great many music-related lots such as sheet music, violin-related books & ephemera, and material from the estate of operatic tenor, Eddy Ruhl. Also offered are several dozen antique salesman's samples or dummy books. Additionally, several lots will feature scarce antique books by and relating to, Theodore Roosevelt. Later this fall, we will be offering a large collection of important, award-winning signed first edition modern literature and will begin offering these books at our October 19th auction. At this auction we will also sell a 2-volume printing of the landmark collection of autographs assembled by Alfred Bovet.
