Welcome one and all! Golden Sun Auctions is pleased to offer some very exciting collections with a wide variety of really cool items! This auction features some wonderful Native American rugs from Professor Daniel Cutrone, Cal State Dominguez Hills who specialized in preserving the four corners of the Native American Indians. He did extensive work, presenting at exhibitions and over the years, he curated his collection at museums and other venues. This auction is just a sampling of some of his pieces with a lot of wonderful rugs and other textiles. These rugs are home spun and hand woven with designs such as Yei, Two Grey Hill, Storm and other incredible pieces. More fantastic pieces from Professor Cutrone's collection next month! For you railroad collectors, we have some terrific Santa Fe Railroad Fred Harvey items such as RR china, menus, meal serving pieces-some being very hard to find and hat badges and more! In the early 1970s, a wonderful Japanese import store in Little Tokyo called Isshin-do, Inc, closed it's doors. All of the inventory was placed in storage and had been kept there until now. This auction has quite a selection of New Old Stock with figurines, porcelain chargers, and an all around assortment of beautiful décor that hasn't been seen in over 40 years! Sports fans also have some great pieces to choose from including USC Trojan signed footballs from the 1960s and 1970s. Signatures include OJ Simpson and Al Cowlings! There are a couple terrific helmets from the 1930s and 1960s, also from the Trojans! We have some gorgeous artwork with LeRoy Neiman, Antoine Blanchard among them; terrific furniture - highlighting a pair of S. Karpen & Co (attrib.) ornately carved Art Nouveau chairs; vintage sterling flatware and silverware; some beautiful fine jewelry with fine Navajo turquoise and a nice assortment of fine gold and diamond jewelry as well as some large lots of costume jewelry, many having never been worn.
