By bidding at the auction you agree to be bound by the following terms. If you are the winning bidder, you will be legally obligated to purchase the items bid on. Please bid on these lots when you need to purchase them. In addition to the hammer price of each lot, a 25% buyer's premium will be paid on each lot. The winning bidder is the highest bidder recognized by our auctioneer and CARINO GALLERY has the final say in determining the winning bidder and resolving any disputes between bidders. In any dispute after the auction, we will be guided by the sales record. We will not ship lots until we have received the entire invoice fee from the winning bidder, and all items must be paid for within three business days of the auction date. Shipping: We will ship lots within fifteen business days of receipt of full payment. We primarily use USPS Express to ship lots. All charges on the original invoice sent to the bidder are estimates and we reserve the right to charge additional fees if the estimate is exceeded. We are not responsible for any insurance shortfalls in foreign shipments or additional invoice charges in excess of the bid amount. It is the responsibility of the Buyer to self-confirm the condition of the property and the matters mentioned in the catalog entries. Catalogs and image quality are subject to error and CARINO GALLERY is not responsible for such errors. Certificate: Jewelry lots sold are appraised by a third-party authoritative appraisal company, where a professional gemologist evaluates the weight, size, and grade of the stones and/or metals to determine the lot's replacement value. All appraisals are for insurance purposes only and do not determine the actual value of a jewelry auction. The sole purpose of the appraisal is to protect the buyer in the event of damage or loss of the jewelry purchased from CARINO GALLERY. CARINO GALLERY is not responsible for the opinions and appraisals of any third-party appraisal companies and their experts. Returns: Returns are not supported provided that the product has no quality issues. And the return can only be made after receiving written confirmation of authorization and ensuring that the product is not damaged in any way. Bidders should submit an application within 3 days of receipt of the goods and state the reason and basis for the return. CARINO GALLERY will not refund any amount other than the winning bid price under any circumstances. A restocking fee of 20% of the total invoice value will be charged. All authorized returns must be received in the exact same condition as initially shipped to the bidder or they will be returned to the buyer at the buyer's expense. Any unauthorized returns will be rejected. Refusal to accept merchandise from CARINO GALLERY to a bidder constitutes an unauthorized return in direct violation of these General Terms and Conditions. Liability: If for any reason a purchased lot cannot be delivered in the same perfect condition as when sold, or if any purchased lot is stolen, miss-delivered, or lost prior to delivery, we shall not be liable for any amount in excess of the amount paid by the buyer. The packing and handling of purchased lots by us are at the sole risk of the purchaser and we shall not be liable for any loss or damage to such items.
