This Native American Catlinite Pipe from the 1880s is an exquisite antique piece that is sure to be a prized possession for any collector.Handmade in the Northern Plains most likely Lakota Sioux the pipe is made from a beautiful red stone known as Catlinite, also called pipestone. The stem is most likely Ash. This pipe is a testament to the rich culture of Native Americans in the United States. The pipe length is 16 1/4 inches the bowl is 1 5/8 inch in length and 1 3/4 in height.
