East Asia, China & Southeast Asia, ca. 17th to 19th century CE. A massive tapayan style stoneware jug, glazed with a single side handle. The surface is glazed in a pale green glaze. Likely used for transport, storage, and fermentation of rice wine or other items. Size: 12" Diameter x 19" H (30.5 cm x 48.3 cm)
