In the Xuanhe period of Huizong in the Northern Song Dynasty (1119~1125), he was appointed as the servant of the painting Academy, in the Shaoxing period of Gaozong in the Southern Song Dynasty (1131~1162), and in the early Longxing year of Xiaozong in the Southern Song Dynasty (1163).
