HISTORY: The Colt Series 70 pistol was produced between 1970 and 1983 in Government Model and Commander sizes. The Series 70 was Colt's new and improved variation of the battle proven 1911A1 pistol, with a major change calculated to improve accuracy. It was a collet style barrel bushing with four flexible fingers that centered the barrel perfectly in relation to the slide. If you ask Colt fans which 1911 series is their favorite, many will say the Series 70. It sported the frame, sights, and arched mainspring housing of the original M1911A1, but proved to be more accurate than the G.I. Service Pistol. FREE SHIPPING & NO PROCESSING FEES.
