BLADE RUNNER (1982) - Bound December 22, 1980 Draft Script - A bound December 22, 1980 draft script from Ridley Scott's Blade Runner. Written by Hampton Fancher and David Webb Peoples, this script is based on the novel Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? by Philip K. Dick and is dated "December 22, 1980," three months before principal photography commenced. This early draft gave fascinating insight into the development of a sci-fi masterpiece.

This brass brad-bound, 140-page script contains references to "NEKKO Corporation," an early version of the "TYRELL Corporation" seen in the finalized script, appear throughout, as well as Rick Deckard's (Harrison Ford) voiceovers. During filming, amendments were made to the script, including Rutger Hauer's addition of his character Roy Batty's iconic "Tears in the rain" monologue.
