167. Large-scale "Red Witch" miniature from Wake of the Red Witch. (Republic, 1948) This scaled-down model (though still huge at approximately 23 ft. long) of the 19th century ship, Red Witch, is seen prominently in the opening sequences of this classic romantic adventure when it runs aground and sinks.  The meticulously constructed vessel is an exact replica of a full-scale Clipper and features three tall masts (one not pictured), articulated handrails, ladders, cabin doorways, rope ladders, and intricate rigging.  The ship was donated by Fox to Hollywood Wax Museum founder Spoony Singh when the Museum opened in 1965. It was the centerpiece of a display with star John Wayne, who played the vengeful "Capt. Ralls". *Note: Special shipping arrangements will be required for this large piece. $4,000 - $6,000
