Dated October 22, 1940 and with blue revision pages dated November 25 and December 20, 1940. Ownership signature of "Fred Applegate, Script Clerk" in blue ink on the front cover and bearing thousands of his annotations in pencil on every page including extensive rewritten dialogue, sketches for actor movement, detailed action diagrams, costume notations, camera shot counts per page, and many other notations. The studio covers are somewhat faded and stained from production use. In addition are six pages of original annotated camera reports and approximately 40 pages of annotated daily production and progress report sheets, comprising a nearly complete shooting sequence, from October 3, 1940 to January 18, 1941.
