1168. Large archive of autographs including contracts, photographs, and other ephemera, Paul Newman "Pvt. Harry Frigg" military jacket from The Secret War of Harry Frigg, James Marshall "James" black leather motorcycle jacket from Twin Peaks and much more. This is a large archive of approximately 2,000 signed contracts, photographs, and other ephemera. The contracts and agreements include: Bud Abbott and Lou Costello, James Cagney for The Man of a Thousand Faces, Cary Grant for The Grass Is Greener, Burt Reynolds for Smokey and the Bandit II, Joan Crawford for Female on the Beach, Tony Curtis for Wild and Wonderful, John Huston for unknown (lacking page 1), Deborah Kerr for Chalk Garden, Groucho Marx for The Great Man, Vincent Price for Service De Luxe, Claude Rains, Fredric March, Burt Lancaster, Charlton Heston, Tyrone Power for Mississippi Gambler, Janet Leigh, and many others. Some of the signed photographs include Natalie Wood, Maurice Chevalier, Orson Welles, The Three Stooges, Van Williams, Phillippe de Lacy, Joseph Szigeti, The Andrews Sisters, Linda Darnell, Paul Muni, Hedda Hopper, Lionel Barrymore, Boris Karloff, Audrey Hepburn, Bob Hope, Charles Boyer, Shirley Temple, William Holden, Gary Cooper, Claudette Colbert, John Gilbert, Elizabeth Taylor, Myrna Loy, Charlie Chaplin, Gloria Swanson, Mary Pickford, Joan Crawford, Ida Lupino, Dorothy Lamour, Janet Leigh, Tony Curtis, Johnny and June Carter Cash, Tippi Hedren, Cary Grant, Jayne Mansfield, Faye Wray, Anna May Wong, Grace Kelly, a CD signed by Madonna, a Savings account application card signed by Lou Costello, and many more. In addition, U.S. Army service uniform jacket worn by Paul Newman as "Pvt. Harry Frigg" in The Secret War of Harry Frigg (Universal, 1968). Dark green jacket with bright gold buttons and buck belt front closure. Internal Western Costume label typewritten "2295-1, Paul Newman, Chest 42, Sleeve 18". Tiny hole on the back at the center right. Includes a black & white continuity photograph and lobby card from The Secret War of Harry Frigg showing Newman in the jacket. Also includes this black leather motorcycle jacket was worn by James Marshall as "James" in the television Twin Peaks (ABC-TV, 1990-1991). It is size 38 and features quilted lining, belt closure at the waist, snaps on the collar and lapels, three zippered pockets, and zippers at the wrists. The left shoulder has a "Classic Motorcycles Club of Washington" patch and the right lapel has a "Classics M.C." pin. The lower right front belt loop has come unstitched at the bottom but could easily be repaired. A signed letter of authenticity from James Marshall, on his personal letterhead, is included as well as several photographs of Marshall wearing the jacket. Also included is a dark gray wool vest and tail coat with internal Western Costume labels, "2121 – I, Victor Buono, [chest] 52, [sleeve] xx", and a hard rubber prop sword painted copper with an orange and black cloth shoulder strap, both from unidentified productions. $3,000 - $5,000
