Archive of 6,800 camera negatives and studio copy negatives including twelve banker boxes of color and black and white 8 x 10 in. camera negatives and studio copy negatives from 20th Century-Fox, Warner Bros., and extensive files from M-G-M totaling approximately 3,500, three boxes of color and black and white 5 x 7 in. and 4 x 5 in. camera negatives and studio copy negatives from M-G-M totaling approximately 1,800, and two boxes of color and black and white 8 x 10 in. negatives and transparencies primarily of title cells totaling approximately 1,500. Also included is one box of approximately 100 vintage 8 x 10 in. stills by film, including The Asphalt Jungle, The Courage of Lassie and Dark Passage. Included in the M-G-M files are negatives of Abbott and Costello, Cyd Charisse, Leslie Caron, Joan Crawford, Bing Crosby, Connie Francis, Clark Gable, Judy Garland, Eva Gabor, Stewart Grainger, Gene Kelly, Deborah Kerr, Jane Powell, Debbie Reynolds, Mickey Rooney, Elizabeth Taylor, Barbara Stanwyck and Robert Taylor, Lana Turner and Esther Williams. These files derive from the personal collection of M-G-M publicist Dore Freeman and feature notation in hand on the outer sleeves which include his personal print order. Included in the 20th Century-Fox files are negatives of Anne Baxter, Joan Bennett, Linda Darnell, Henry Fonda, Betty Grable, Peter Lorre and Loretta Young, and from Coney Island, Down Argentine Way, The Grapes of Wrath, The Lodger, Pin-Up Girl and Star Dust. Included in the Warner Bros. files are negatives from The Adventures of Robin Hood, Bordertown, Dodge City, King's Row, The Letter, The Little Giant, Manpower, Oklahoma Kid, Old Acquaintance, The Prince and the Pauper, The Roaring Twenties, Smart Money and That Certain Woman. $6,000 - $8,000
