(Walt Disney, 1959) Collection of 70 Rotoscope photostats of Ed Kemmer, the live-action model for Prince Phillip. Kemmer was known for his role as Cmdr. Buzz Corry in Space Patrol. Kemmer is shown in costume while wielding a sword and shield, and astride a wooden buck for the final battle sequence. Before animation production began, many scenes in the film was done in a live-action reference version, with live actors in costume serving as models for the animators. The photographs are printed on registration-punched paper measuring 12 ½ in. x 15 ½ in. and represent a nearly complete sequence. Condition is generally very good; with slight curl at edges, some marginal staining and corner creases.
